Doria Halkias, Senior Paralegal
As one of the firm’s senior paralegals, I am often the first point of contact for new clients. I have had a keen interest in law from a young age and dedicated my educational and professional career to helping others. One of my favorite aspects of family law work is the interpersonal contact with clients: providing support, compassion, and assistance to those going through a challenging and emotional period in their lives.
Upon graduation from college, I enrolled in the paralegal certificate program at Cal State East Bay. Alongside my studies I interned for the Alameda County District Attorney, which gave me an invaluable opportunity to be directly involved in the world of law. Prior to joining Dubroff, Easley & Lovell, LLP, I worked for civil firms after completing my paralegal certificate program. My employment background was an excellent springboard into family law, which I find immensely rewarding.
When not hard at work, I enjoy traveling the world, trying new foods, meeting new people, and creating new experiences. I grew up in the Bay Area and love its diversity. When not traveling the world, I focus my non-work time around family and friends.
